About CoasterPlanner

CoasterPlanner started from a simple observation: in a theme park, the order you do things in decides how long you queue. The information exists — wait times are posted live — but nobody can work out the best order in their head.

Every 5 minutes we record the wait time of each ride at Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World and Parc Astérix. These readings build hour-by-hour profiles; on the day itself, live times take over. An optimisation engine then tests tens of thousands of possible orders to find yours.
